Wait, so they're NOT for the dishwasher? Do you drop them into a sink full of water, or what? Alas, I have no dishwasher (I AM the dishwasher) so I have to clean everything by hand. I don't quite understand how to use these. . .

yes, they clean, clean, clean - even diapers in hard water - no we don't need to buy water softener for the laundry machine (wish I could figure out something for the shower!!)
